Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to animals in a veterinary setting. You will assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various conditions, ensuring the well-being of pets and other animals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of animal anatomy, handling techniques, and veterinary practices.

Duties:

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze results.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Monitor animal health and behavior before, during, and after procedures.
• Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and catheterization.
• Conduct X-ray imaging and ensure proper handling of equipment.
• Provide pet grooming services as needed to maintain hygiene.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for both animals and staff.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have:

• More than 3 years of experience in emergency and GP.
• Proficiency in animal handling techniques and knowledge of animal anatomy.
• Experience in Exotics is a plus!

General Practice: Vaccines, client education, wellness visits - you've got it down!

Emergency & Critical Care: Triage, hospitalized patient care, advanced monitoring, urgent surgical assists - you shine under pressure!

Technical Mastery: You can draw blood, place IVs, monitor anesthesia, run labs, assist in surgery.

Team Player: You lift others up, communicate like a champ, and you're not afraid to ask for help (or coffee).
