Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a dynamic firm seeking an experienced Interim Financial Reporting Consultant . This role is critical to support the company through a transitional phase, following an unplanned resignation and a recent acquisition. We are looking for a high-level consultant who can hit the ground running and manage complex financial reporting tasks with efficiency and expertise.

Title: Senior FP&A Consultant
Location: Hybrid – Arlington, VA
Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $90.00
Job Type: Contract / Contract to Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Update the 10-K and prepare the 10-Q using Workiva. Address disclosures related to a recent acquisition.
• Draft technical memos and conduct revenue contract reviews. Provide analytical support and documentation for the Director of Financial Reporting.
• Complete revenue and location-based census surveys.
• Translate Yardi trial balances and post necessary journal entries.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Workiva is a must.
• Extensive experience with SEC filings, including 10-K and 10-Q.
• Strong technical memo writing skills.
• Preferred experience with Yardi.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Senior Manager-level experience in public company SEC reporting.
• Strong technical accounting background.
• CPA certification is preferred.
